SEC West: 2015 Storylines

Auburn:  New Defensive Coordinator

Last year the storyline could very easily have been the missing horseshoe from the 2013 season (FSU national championship loss).  This year, though, the chief storyline is hands down the arrival of Will Muschamp and what it means for the Tiger defense.  Already one of the highest paid coordinators in college football, Muschamp will have to turn around a porous Tiger defense that did the Tiger’s offense no favors over the course of the season last year.   Interestingly, the Tigers consistently recruit at a very high level, and the defensive haul from previous classes is strong to say the least.  What Will Muschamp can, or can’t, do with the Auburn defense is something to watch this fall for a team entering the season favored by many to win the SEC.
