#1 Oil State Showdown

20 Wisconsin VS 3 Alabama

Location:  AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

Game Time:  Saturday, September 5 9:00PM ET

TV:  ABC

For the second year in a row the Wisconsin Badgers make the trip south to the state of Texas to kickoff the 2015 season against an SEC west power.  The Alabama Crimson Tide open yet another season against a quality opponent, which has been a point of emphasis during the Nick Saban era.  The Badgers not only held their own against LSU last year, but arguably should have upended the Tigers.  Ultimately, however, the Badgers cracked under pressure.  Much like LSU last year, Alabama will be operating with a new quarterback.  Wisconsin took advantage of LSU’s one dimensional offense a year ago, and will be poised to do so against the Crimson Tide if the player under center struggles.  Watching who Lane Kiffin and Nick Saban start under center will be worth the view in and of itself.  We all know who Wisconsin is as a program and team, but we’re still not sure who Alabama wants to be.  Will Alabama roll out a more conservative offense to help a new quarterback get acclimated, or will Lane Kiffin open the offense up from the beginning?  This is the primetime matchup of week 1, and a lot rides on this game for the Crimson Tide.
