Week 3 – Sept. 19: Away @ LSU, Tiger Stadium Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Coming off of two big victories to start off the season, I think the Tigers get caught off guard in week three when they head to Death Valley. The last time Auburn traveled to LSU, the team lost 35-21.

I think Auburn will fall behind in the first half heading into halftime down by ten points in a low scoring affair. Auburn’s defense will look good and will stop the running game that features junior running back Leonard Fournette for LSU, but will fail to put anything together on offense until the fourth quarter.

During the fourth quarter I think both sides will battle it out- scoring on two possessions each.  But Auburn will fail to make up the early deficit and fall to Les Miles and his LSU Tigers in week three by seven points or less.

Last season, Auburn blew out the Tigers at home winning 41-7, but I think they will underestimate their opponents in week three. This early season loss for the Tigers will propel them to success as their SEC schedule gets going in the later part of September for the remainder of 2015.

Record after week three: 2-1

Next: Week 4: Mississippi State
