Week 8 – Oct. 24: Away @ Arkansas, D.W.R Razorback Stadium Fayetteville, Arkansas

Last season against the Arkansas Razorbacks, quarterback Jeremy Johnson got some valuable playing time after the suspension of Nick Marshall for the first half. Johnson led the team to a 21-21 tie heading into the halftime locker room. The defense shutout the Hogs in the second half leading the Tigers to a victory in front of the home crowd.

This season, Johnson will be the first QB to find big holes in the Arkansas secondary and explode on offense. Johnson will further propel himself into talks of postseason accolades such as the Heisman Trophy and the Maxwell Award as he throws for three touchdowns in the Tigers’ win in Fayetteville.

The Tigers look to be on pace to challenge Ole Miss and Alabama for the top of the SEC West after this win separates the men from the boys late in October.

Record after week eight: 6-1

Next: Week 9: Ole Miss
