…..Missouri
It has to stop, right? Every year Missouri is popularly picked to finish 3rd/4th in the SEC East, and they just go out and win it. Back to back years, Missouri has proven everyone wrong.

I can’t help but look back at last year and ask myself, “How in the heck did they do that?” Last year they got by with Maty Mauck being inconsistent at best. And even though he is back, who is he supposed to throw to? Throw in a left tackle in Conner McGovern who’s only experience is on the right side of the line and Mauck just may decide to quit coming to the stadium.
I would question the defense, but they just reload every year. They produce amazing linemen and linebackers. Even if they are freshmen and sophomores, I will not question Coach Gary Pinkel on his defense. Terry Beckner Jr. and Nate Howard promise to impress, and do not sleep on Spencer Williams. There is enough experience mixed with young talent to see Mizzou’s drop off on the defensive side of the ball being minimal.
With an offense that is set to struggle mightily, I expect the Tigers to slip this year and look more like the 2012 5-7 team than the teams that won back to back SEC East division titles. Ask Florida what having a great defense and no offense will get you.
