2015 Football Preview: LSU Tigers

Week 6 – Oct. 10: Away @ South Carolina, Williams-Brice Stadium Columbia, South Carolina
The last time these teams met in 2012, the Tigers pulled out a 23-21 victory in Death Valley.
With a huge conference win against a SEC West rival, two blowout wins in the span of three weeks and a Top 10 ranking going into week six … most would predict the LSU Tigers as the favorites to handily take care of the Gamecocks in 2015.
I beg to differ. I think this is one of those crazy conference games that will come back to bite the Tigers in the rear when it comes down to final SEC rankings.
I think the Tigers will let this road test slip through their fingers and South Carolina will look like a different team than in any of their other games this season.
The self-proclaimed “DB U” of the Tigers defense will be tore up by a few tricks Spurrier and the boys pull out in this game to try and reverse their luck in 2015. The Gamecocks will come away with the win by three points or less just like LSU did in 2012.
