Week 7 – Oct 17: Home vs. Florida, Tiger Stadium Baton Rouge, Louisiana

A pretty sorry Florida team that I referenced earlier took the Tigers to the limit in 2014, pushing them to a 30-27 final score before falling in Gainesville, Florida.

As bitter SEC rivals this game is sure to be a good closely contested battle. Since 2011, the only time the home team lost this annual matchup was last year in the Swamp.

That being said and the final score the last time these two met in Death Valley was only 17-6, the LSU Tigers will win this game but it will be won on a select number of plays.

Fournette scored twice last year for the Tigers against UF and I think he is the difference maker in this game. The defenses in this matchup will keep the game close. A special teams return by Fournette and his ability to find the end zone out of the backfield single handily win this game for the Tigers. LSU by 10.

Record after week seven: 6-1
