Week 13 – Nov. 28: Away @ Mississippi State, Davis Wade Stadium Starkville, Mississippi

A rivalry game in the final week of the regular season in which all eyes will be on the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn to see which team will come out on top of the SEC West in the battle between the top four teams seems like a walk in the park for the Rebels against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. People will be focused on the Iron Bowl winner right? So there is no pressure for the Rebels in week 13?

Wrong.

The Bulldogs will have nothing to lose in the season finale of an absolutely horrendous 2015 season where they don’t even become bowl eligible. The Bulldogs will take it to the Rebels and surprise them during the final week of the season.

The Rebels will see their chance of winning the SEC West slip away as they wind up with a good but not great season. Most of their talent will move on to the NFL in the offseason and Hugh Freeze will have to look to rebuild his program with solid recruits like the guys from 2013.

If the Rebels can find a way to not overlook Dak Prescott and the Bulldogs and the cards fall the right way, the Rebels could appear in the 2015 College Football Playoff.

Record after week 13: 9-3
