Week 1 – Sept. 5: Home vs. UT Martin, Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Oxford, Mississippi
The Rebels open up their 2015 campaign on home turf in Oxford. The Rebels haven’t lost a non-conference home game in Oxford since 2011. That season, the Rebels went 3-10 and 0-8 in the SEC.
Since then the Rebels have continued to make the climb up the college football landscape, improving each season (2012 – 7-6, 2013 – 8-5, 2014 – 9-4).
This season I think their climb continues and they finish right around the 9-10 win mark. The winning trend will start in weeks one and two as Ole Miss gets ready for a showdown with Alabama in week three.
Record after week one: 1-0
Next: Week 2: Fresno State
