Week 4 – Sept. 26: Home vs. Vanderbilt, Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Oxford, Mississippi
This season, the 2013 recruiting class that Hugh Freeze brought to Ole Miss will really take the reigns and propel the Rebels back to the top of the SEC West for the second straight year.
The class includes Treadwell, Robert Nkemdiche, Laremy Tunsil and Tony Conner — all athletes that will make huge contributions for the Rebels in 2015. Tunsil will play a huge role in allowing Kelly to get settled in the pocket and Nkemdiche and Conner will keep points off the board while reeking havoc in the running lanes and swatting poor passes.
These teams have played some classics, including the 2013 season opener. The Rebels won a close one in Nashville to beat their SEC opponents 39-35. During that game, Ole Miss scored five rushing touchdowns. This year’s game will mirror that type of story line but with far less points scored by Vandy, if any at all. Ole Miss dominates the Commodores.
