Week 13 – Nov. 28: Home vs. Ole Miss, Davis Wade Stadium Starkville, Mississippi
In the final week of the 2015 regular season, the Mississippi State Bulldogs will win the Egg Bowl against in-state rival, Ole Miss.
Last season, Ole Miss won the game 31-17 at home in Oxford.
The Bulldogs will have nothing to lose as they saw their hopes of contending for a top spot in the SEC West fall away through various losses in 2015, but they can salvage a win against their biggest opponent and ruin the Rebels’ chances to make the College Football Playoff.
The Bulldogs barely fail to become bowl eligible in 2015. The reason they win this game against the Rebels isn’t due to talent, it is because the home team usually wins.
The last four Egg Bowls have been won by the home team. That trend continues this year as Mississippi State takes down Ole Miss.
Record after week 13: 5-7
