Week 1 – Sept. 5: Away @ Southern Mississippi, M.M. Roberts Stadium Hattiesburg, Mississippi

This in-state rivalry that was renewed in 2014 with a 49-0 home win for the Bulldogs will kick off Mississippi State’s season on the road.

The rivalry dates back to 1935 and Southern Miss leads the all-time series 14-13-1.

In week one, Dak Prescott and the Bulldogs will shutout the Golden Eagles for the second straight year and score over 50 points in preparation for an early season SEC matchup in week two.
