Week 3 – Sept. 19: Home vs. Northwestern State, Davis Wade Stadium Starkville, Mississippi

After their home opener ends in a loss to LSU, the Bulldogs get their easiest opponent of the the season at home in week three. The Bulldogs will score 50+ again in week three and will look good against a very weak opponent. The Bulldogs will get used to winning at home against weak teams in 2015.

The Bulldogs went 7-0 at home in 2014 and will only drop the LSU game and one other at home in 2015. Starkville will be the place where Mullen’s team shines the most, if at all, this season.

There is not much else to say about this game for the Bulldogs besides that it is a cakewalk and they might as well sit Prescott and key starters for the Auburn game in week four.  In resting their starters, they should let the scout team get some game day reps.

Record after week three: 2-1

Next: Week 4: Auburn
