Week 8 – Oct. 24: Home vs. Kentucky, Davis Wade Stadium Starkville, Mississippi
This game for me is a coin toss. Kentucky in 2014 looked good in games against weaker SEC opponents and if they can improve on last season with some experienced players coming back they can take down the struggling Bulldogs team.
A loss in week eight will start a terrible losing skid that will last hurt the Bulldogs’ chances to get any kind of traction in the SEC West.
If people thought Dan Mullen was on the hot seat before the breakout season for this team in 2014, what will he be after a horrendous end of the 2015 campaign? Chopped liver? Out of a job? I don’t know if they will fire him or wait until the offseason but I think Mullen could be on the job market following the 2015 season.
Week 9: Off week
Record after weeks eight and nine: 4-4
