Alabama: Offense
The conversation about Lane Kiffin’s Alabama offense starts and ends with power running back Derrick Henry. The 6’3″ 242 pound animal uses his durable frame and daunting speed to outrun and overpower would-be tacklers.
However, if ‘Bama wants to develop a two-dimensional offense, quarterback Jacob Coker will need to throw the ball effectively. Behind an offensive line that is traditionally strong, he should have the protection to do so.
When Coker throws the ball, his favorite target is converted running back Kenyan Drake. The senior quarterback will also look to targets like tight end O.J Howard and wideout Robert Foster for additional help.
