Mississippi: Defense

Ole Miss’s defense ‘landshark’ defense doesn’t return all of it’s bite from a season ago, but their 4-2-5 scheme can provide a formidable opponent for anyone.

The Rebels’ defensive scheme requires excellent play on the line, and fortunately that shouldn’t be a problem for standout Robert Nkemdiche. He’ll play beside the daunting and dangerous Woodrow Hamilton, a 6’3″ 319 pound behemoth.

Mississippi was required to reload in the secondary, but they could have leverage over the Crimson Tide’s passing attack. The key will be stopping the run.
