Mississippi: Keys to Win the Game

1. Fire Away

Just like our friend Katy Perry who picked the Rebs last fall, Chad Kelly will need to ‘fire away’ offensively. The strong armed quarterback should have plenty of friends to throw to, but how will they hang against ‘Bama’s pass D?

2. Stop the run

‘Bama’s rushing attack is feared in these parts, and it doesn’t take most defenses a long time to figure out why. However, with Nkemdiche in the backfield, Mississippi can stack the box and hope for the best.

3. Cool, Calm, Collected

The season’s biggest stage in week three, the Rebels face ‘Bama in front of 100,000 fans and millions of television viewers. All of this in Bryant-Denny Stadium, which they haven’t left victorious from since the Ronald Regan era.
