Tennessee: Offense
We know Tennessee has potential on offense, but they’ll have to show us more against a perennial Florida defense in the conference opener. Joshua Dobbs (the Vols’ big, mobile quarterback) struggled against the Sooners, only completing 41% of his passes.
To add to that, the offensive line will need to be uber-protective against a Gators D-Line that can bring the bite.
The people of the Volunteer State better hope Dobbs and the offensive line will be focused for the Gators. Running back Jalen Hurd and a host of receivers are the water that Butch Jones can use to fill Tennessee’s metaphorical river back up, because it’s currently in a ten-year drought.
