If you wanted to see what might happen if Jacksonville State got another crack at Auburn, this game Saturday will be about as close to that as it gets.  Auburn, reeling from a home loss to Mississippi State last weekend, will be looking to form some kind of identity on offense this Saturday.  San Jose State stands a real chance of knocking off the Tigers.  We’re about to find out what kind of determination and resolve Auburn has.  A loss Saturday puts post season play in serious jeopardy.  This game is a notable one in the conference this week, because it may signal the end of the pre-season pick in the conference.

Arkansas VS Tennessee

Game Time:  Saturday, October 3 7:00PM ET

TV:  ESPN2

Both teams lost heartbreakers last weekend.  Arkansas fell late to old Southwest Conference rival Texas A&M, and

Tennessee fell apart to Eastern Division rival Florida.  The storylines entering this game are virtually identical.  Both teams finished the 2014 season strong and entered 2015 as darkhorses to win their division.  The kicker? Both teams have lost multiple games early this year.  It appears Arkansas has the toughest row to hoe if they can’t get it done Saturday night.  Tennessee still has the luxury of playing in the East.  This one should come down to who wants (needs) it most.  Arkansas has the most to lose and therefore should be labeled as the most dangerous, but the Vols have the home crowd behind them.  This game should be a great one Saturday night, and is probably not getting the credit it deserves this week.
