I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again,  true Heisman contenders shine when the lights are brightest.  Georgia has played in many games in which the lights were shining bright, and more often than not, Georgia has cowered in the spotlight.  This held true yet again this past weekend.  Nick Chubb had a chance for his “Heisman moment” and he failed to take advantage.  Yes, he did succeed in tying Herschel Walker’s record for most consecutive 100-yard games in Georgia history.  However, he tied the record with an 83 yard touchdown run that was when his team was down 38-3 in the 3rd quarter.  He finished the day with 146 yards and a touchdown.  But when your team is beaten 38-10 in their biggest game of the season, that has to knock you down a notch in our SEC Heisman Hopefuls list.  Nick Chubb will have a chance to move back up our Heisman hopefuls’ list when his Bulldogs play a desperate Tennessee team in Knoxville this weekend.

Next: So, about that end of a dynasty?
