Alabama: Offense
Derrick Henry is the heart and soul of this offense, and for good reason, too. As we dip our toes into the season’s second half, the conference’s second leading rusher has already totaled 901 yards and twelve touchdowns, almost 30 percent of those yards coming from his monstrous performance against Texas A&M last Saturday.
Tennessee will need to have quite the performance on defense to stop Henry, as their defense allows an average of 170.5 rushing yards per game — good for tenth in the conference.
As far as the passing offense goes, ‘Bama isn’t top-tier. Numbers show that they are one of the league’s better units, however. Efficiency is 62.7% and Jacob Coker leads a group that passes for an average of 247.0 yards per game. They could also have a big day against the Vols, who are at the bottom of the charts in this category.
