When Tennessee leads at the half, it’s usually the precedent to another heartbreaking loss. But this is ‘Bama and the Vols’ haven’t led a contest with these guys since a 3-0 lead in the first quarter of their 2011 clash.

This could be a huge factor if the Volunteers keep it close against Alabama. Tennessee is the nation’s first ranked team in the kickoff return category, while the Tide are 107^th in return defense.

1. Keep It Creative

You’re a 14.5 point-underdog on opposing turf in a game that you must win to stay alive in the Eastern Division chance. Take a tip from Steve Spurrier, Tennessee, and throw in some trick plays. I’m sure dual-threat Joshua Dobbs is capable.
