  1. Come Out Hot

When Tennessee leads at the half, it’s usually the precedent to another heartbreaking loss. But this is ‘Bama and the Vols’ haven’t led a contest with these guys since a 3-0 lead in the first quarter of their 2011 clash.

  1. Special Teams

This could be a huge factor if the Volunteers keep it close against Alabama. Tennessee is the nation’s first ranked team in the kickoff return category, while the Tide are 107th in return defense.

  1. Keep It Creative

You’re a 14.5 point-underdog on opposing turf in a game that you must win to stay alive in the Eastern Division chance. Take a tip from Steve Spurrier, Tennessee, and throw in some trick plays. I’m sure dual-threat Joshua Dobbs is capable.
