Texas A&M (6-3), (3-3) SEC
A five-game winning streak had Aggies’ fans dreaming big in the midseason. That came to a crashing halt after Alabama’s Crimson Tide picked apart a turnover-prone Texas A&M offense.
With three games regular season games remaining, things aren’t looking up for the Aggies. They’ve dropped three of their last four SEC games, with the only win coming against a struggling South Carolina team. Fortunately, it shouldn’t take too much to produce a winning record with a little icing on the cake.
If A&M can defeat Western Carolina and Vanderbilt, they’ll finish with eight wins and could be in line for an intriguing mid-tier bowl bid. If they could somehow pull one off against ‘ole LSU, then they’ll be riding high into the postseason. For now, though, Aggies’ fans won’t be satisfied.
Remaining Schedule: Western Carolina, at Vanderbilt, LSU
Prediction: Belk Bowl
Next: Mississippi State: Texas Bowl
