We never though that the Razorbacks would be here after back-to-back losses to Toledo and Texas Tech, but Bret Beilema and Arkansas have a chance to end the season on a high note. With games remaining against LSU, Mississippi State, and Missouri, can Arkansas end the season with eight wins?
It’s possible, but beating an angry LSU in Death Valley could be quite the challenge. Look for the Pigs to cap off the season without another loss, however, if they can get by the Bayou Bengals on November 14th. A strong finisher, Arkansas should be in line for a decent middle-tier bowl when Selection Sunday comes around.
Southbound and Down thinks a Liberty Bowl matchup with an old Southwestern Conference rival wouldn’t be a bad way to watch football in December. We’ll sit back and hope it happens.
Remaining Schedule: at LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri
