Week 10 was one all SEC Football fans had marked down for over a month, and it didn’t disappoint. Florida survived a scare against Vanderbilt early in the day, and locked down their spot in Atlanta. The Gators were due a hangover, so is there any cause for concern moving forward? Mississippi State took care of business and washed away Missouri with the monsoon. Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past week, you’ve seen the ending to the Arkansas-Ole Miss game last weekend. Was that game an anomaly, or is Arkansas coming into their own while the Rebels are fading? Texas A&M and Auburn squared off with the Tigers emerging victorious in rather convincing fashion. Give Gus Malzahn and his staff credit. The Tigers still have a pulse. Georgia took care of business, while Tennessee squeaked by South Carolina in a tight one.

The big game of the week was LSU’s trip to Tuscaloosa to face Alabama. The Alabama front 7 did something many predicted, but not in the fashion many expected. Alabama’s front 7 not only contained, but virtually shut down Leonard Fournette. Has another SEC running back emerged as the Heisman favorite from the SEC now? Moving on to this week: Alabama travels less than an hour west to Starkville to take on Dak Prescott and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Are all the intangibles favoring Mississippi State? Auburn and Georgia square off early Saturday in what was supposed to be a potential preview to the SEC championship. Arkansas travels due south to Baton Rouge. How will the Tigers respond after being outclassed from start to finish by Alabama last weekend? Has Bret Bielema found another lady, yes that’d be lady luck, to stand by his side? (Jen, I’m available). Florida travels to South Carolina, and Missouri (desperately needing a distraction) entertains BYU. There sre other games to follow in week 11, so go inside and find out what you need to know around the conference this week.
