Game Time: Saturday, November 14 12:00PM ET

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry still has a strong sense of hate to it, but not much star power attached to it. What was projected by many to be a preview of the SEC Championship has more or less reverted back to a simple rivalry game.

Still, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t tune in midday Saturday. In fact, the Auburn-Georgia came looks like dandy. Vegas thinks so too. Georgia enters after taking care of business last weekend against a deflated Kentucky team, and would love to salvage the season with a road win against cross state foe Auburn. The Tigers enter after handily defeating Texas A&M out in College Station. Auburn still has life. That much is evident. We’ll all find out Saturday if the Georgia Bulldogs football program still has life.
This looks like a game that will keep you tuned in all the way to the fourth quarter, and something tells me you won’t see a sleepy crowd in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn and Georgia are both fighting for bowl pecking order, and that’s enough of a match to set the rivalry game on fire. Look for a close one in Auburn, and great warm-up for the Alabama-Mississippi State matchup in Starkville later in the afternoon.
