Alabama:  A-Day

Sat. April 16, 3 p.m.

ESPN

2015 attendance:  65,175

It is just another year for Alabama.  They are bringing in yet another dominating class and we all expect the defense to not skip a beat, despite losing Kirby Smart.  Jeremy Pruitt comes in with an impressive track record and most are expecting the Bama defense to be as stingy as ever.  It will be difficult to accurately judge the strength of the defense this spring because the offense is expected to struggle early.

Cooper Bateman will be assumedly leading the way in the quarterback competition until we are told otherwise.  Multiple reports have him playing the most 1st team snaps and multiple starts in scrimmage games that they have played.  Don’t forget, at Alabama, the running back play is almost as important, if not more important, than the quarterback play.  Saban has seemed to indicate little separation between Bo Scarborough and Damien Harris, and that means we may need to be paying more attention to the production coming from the running back position this A-Day.
