Let’s not beat around the bush: Kevin Sumlin is on the hot seat. Texas A&M recruiting is still going strong as Sumlin has put together a solid list of commits from the c/o 2017

Analysis
The name that sticks out to me is Kellen Mond, a talented dual-threat quarterback who will be finishing his senior year at the IMG Academy, the nation’s premier sports academy. On June 27, Mond announced that he would be taking his talents to College Station, via Twitter.
From the moment he steps foot on campus, he’ll be a guy who is in the mix. He’s so dynamic, and has a thick frame similar to a Trevone Boykin.
There will be some competition from Connor Blumrick, a 6-foot-6 quarterback with a cannon for an arm. He already has NFL size, and with time, he can develop into a NFL talent.
One of my favorite commits on this list is Creed Humphrey, a four-star center from Shawnee, Okla. He’s a mauler, and he has a high motor. I think he can be the next big lineman to come out of A&M.
Oh, did I forget to mention that the Aggies have some huge defensive backs on this list? Devin Morris (6’2″), Derrick Tucker (6’2″), and Myles Jones (6’4″) have the length and size to go stride-for-stride with any receiver in the SEC. Tucker will prove to be valuable while patrolling the backfield at safety.

In The Mix
All-purpose back Anthony McFarland Jr. has expressed interest in A&M as they landed in his top 10. It seems that McFarland is leaning more towards Miami, or Alabama, but if the Aggies can pull it off, they’ll be able to utilize someone like McFarland in numerous offensive schemes.
Class Grade: A-
The healthy amount of four-star talent on this list earned the Aggies an A- grade. Kellen Mond is a dynamic playmaker, and a lot of the three-stars on this list are on the cusp of being four-stars.
Also, gotta shoutout A&M for getting involved in the Pokemon Go craze. Anything to get recruits right? Gotta catch em’ all.
And hey Oklahoma State, stay out of the Aggies’ “Pokemon Territory“.
