The name that sticks out to me is Tyler Shelvin, one of the best defensive prospects in this class. The No. 2 defensive tackle prospect in the nation is an absolute monster, standing at 6’2″, and weighing in at 376 pounds (yikes!). Even if you only consider his size, he’ll be able to make an impact right off the bat. He moves incredibly well for a prospect weighing in at just under 380 pounds.

On the offensive line, Austin Deculus is a 6-foot-6, 330-pounder who has incredible strength. His long arms create the separation needed to open up holes for runs, and protect the quarterback.

Lowell Narcisse is a talented dual-threat QB. He’ll have the opportunity to play with Jhamon Ausbon, a four-star receiver from the IMG Academy.

Although he’s only a three-star prospect, Tory Carter is one of the best fullbacks in the nation. He’s huge, and athletic. He can be a playmaker like former Tiger, Jacob Hester.

    In The Mix

There is a healthy helping of talent from the IMG Academy on this list, but one name is missing: Dylan Moses. The nation’s second best recruit is a Baton Rouge native. If LSU were to lose this guy to Alabama, Miami or any other school on his radar, it would be a HUGE loss (don’t worry LSU fans, I think he’ll come back home).

Four-star recruits Todd Harris (Saftey), and Chris Allen (OLB), seem to both be locks for LSU. It’s important to note that Allen is also a Baton Rouge kid, who plays at Southern University Lab.

    Class Grade: A

This is your typical, talent loaded LSU class. There’s a mix of great in-state and out-of-state talent. Their number one goal is acquiring Dylan Moses. No question about it, he’s the best prospect interested in them right now. The Tigers will bring in a talent-loaded group, and Tyler Shelvin may be the answer at defensive line for LSU. He could stuff the run against some loaded SEC West opponents.
