Last year for South Carolina, Pharoh Cooper dominated the passing game, as he should have. But now Cooper is plying his trade in the NFL. This leaves a massive hole that needs to be filled. The man who looks most likely to fill that hole is Deebo Samuel.

Samuel is 6’0″ 202 and has good speed and hands. Coming into his sophomore season he should be a more savvy and polished route runner. Last year as a freshman, Samuel was third on the team with 161 receiving yards on 12 catches with one touchdown, despite missing seven games with an injury.

If he can stay healthy, Samuel will be the man in the South Carolina receiving corps this season.
