Last season Daylon Mack arrived in College Station with big expectations. He did a decent job of living up to them as well. He had 32 tackles, including 9.5 for a loss. Nevertheless, he had no sacks and wasn’t the dominant force that Aggie fans had anticipated he would be.

This year that is going to change. Myles Garrett requires a double team on just about every play. That means that Mack, a 6’1″ 313 pound monster, will feast. He is a year older and a year stronger. Mack will be a terror for offensive linemen across the conference.

He has also slimmed down. Last year he weighed 340 pounds. At 313 he should be much more explosive and should be able to run down quarterbacks once he blows past the offensive line. He and Garrett make the Texas A&M offensive line one of the scariest in the conference.
