Mississippi State lost two of their top three receivers from last season, De’Runnya Wilson and Fred Brown. Fortunately for the Bulldogs, they still have their number one target, Fred Ross. The question now is who will step up on the other side to take pressure off Ross and not allow him to be double-teamed.

The answer is Donald Gray. Gray is a tiny speedster at 5’10” 193. Gray’s skill-set is a perfect complement to the bigger, physical Ross, who is 6’2″ 207. Gray can take the top off a defense with his speed, which will open things up for Ross underneath. And if the defense decides to bring a safety down to double-team Ross, look out. Because Gray will zoom past, catch the ball, and waltz into the end zone.

Last season Gray caught just 21 passes for 386 yards. Expect those numbers to increase dramatically this season.
