In the 2012 recruiting class, the University of Alabama snagged two of the top-ten receivers in the country. One of them, Amari Cooper, became an instant star, won the Biletnikoff Award, was a Heisman  finalist, and was a top 10 pick in the NFL draft. The other one was Chris Black. Black was actually rated one spot above Cooper in the 247-Composite. Unfortunately for Black, injuries derailed his career in Tuscaloosa.

Now Black is a member of the Missouri Tigers, and more importantly, is finally healthy.  For his career, Black has caught 25 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns. But don’t let the lack of production fool you, Black has all the tools to be an elite receiver. He is fast, a good route runner, and has solid hands.

Missouri is in need of a slot receiver, and Black should fit the bill perfectly. Expect Drew Lock to go to Black early and often this season.
