#1 Alabama (-10) over #20 USC, Saturday 8:00 PM (ET), AT&T Stadium- Arlington, Texas

This game is similar to the LSU-Wisconsin game in the fact that it looks intriguing on the surface, but will end up being a blowout. Bama has questions at quarterback, but when haven’t they over the past few seasons? Bama is poised to field a defense that will be just as good, if not better, than last years. Whoever the QB is will have a plethora of talent at receiver as Calvin Ridley, ArDarius Stewart, and OJ Howard all return. The running back position is inexperienced, but talented as Bo Scarborough and Damien Harris are ready to take over.

USC does have some talent in key positions such as Ardoree’ Jackson that could cause problems for Bama. Unfortunately for the Trojans, introducing a first year starting quarterback against the Alabama defense is less than optimal. The only chance the Trojans have is to force the inexperienced quarterbacks for Bama into some early turnovers. However, Saban will keep it simple for his QB and ride the running game. After a slow start, the Crimson Tide will dominate USC in the trenches on both sides of the ball and will run away to an easy victory.

Prediction: Alabama 34, USC 10

Next: Clash of the Tigers
