#2 Clemson (-7) over Auburn, Saturday 9:00 PM (ET), Jordan-Hare Stadium- Auburn, Alabama

I’m in the minority of people who think Auburn can give Clemson problems. Clemson’s offense will once again be incredible behind Deshaun Watson, but Auburn has enough talent along the defensive line with Carl Lawson and Byron Cowart to keep Watson off-balance. The Clemson defense also has some holes as they must replace several stars from last year’s defense. These holes could be exploited, but is Auburn’s offense good enough to do it? Sean White will bring experience to the Auburn offense, but little more. Don’t expect White to go the distance in this one as the Tigers need a playmaker at the position.

The fact that the game is in Auburn is a big advantage for the Tigers. The stadium should be rocking, which could rattle a young Clemson defense early.  Will that be enough for Auburn to pull the upset? No, but it will be enough to keep it close until the 4th quarter when Clemson will inevitably pull away.

Prediction: Clemson 34, Auburn 17
