Florida (-17) over Kentucky, Saturday 2:30 PM (CT), Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Kentucky entered the season with hopes of a bowl game, but that dream may already be shattered. The Wildcats suffered the most embarrassing loss of the weekend against Southern Miss. Kentucky, which must have been some kind of theme for the SEC, blew a major lead in their loss to Southern Miss. Things certainly won’t get better for the Wildcats anytime soon as they now face a trip to the Swamp.

Florida didn’t look overly impressive against Massachusetts, but at least they managed to get a win. The Gators defense once again looks dominant, but the offense still has it’s issues. Luke Del Rio is an improvement at quarterback for the Gators, but they still aren’t very dynamic on that side of the ball. The Gators need to find playmakers or they will look much the same as last season offensively. But, what’s better for a struggling offense than a Kentucky defense that gave up 34 unanswered points? Expect the Gators to look better offensively and completely dominate defensively. Prediction: Florida 27, Kentucky 6
