3. Will Alabama’s Offense Start Slow?

Alabama has easily been the best team in the conference so far this season. However, the TIde do have one glaring weakness. That is, of course, the fact that the offense gets off to an incredibly slow start almost every single week. We saw it against USC, Ole Miss, and even Kentucky.

People forget about it because the offense explodes in the second quarter. However, one day someone is going to make the Tide pay for taking a quarter off. Will it be Arkansas?

It could well be. The Hogs are a tough out this season. Quarterback Austin Allen has done a phenomenal job. Rawleigh Williams is not Alex Collins, but he’s a talented running  back nonetheless. And of course, the Hogs have their huge offensive line as always.

Fortunately, Alabama’s defense has been incredible so far this season. They will need to keep up that high level of play against a balanced Arkansas attack. I ultimately think they will, and that will mean that a slow offensive start won’t be an issue this week.

With that said, Tide fans would feel lot better if the TIde offense dominated from the opening whistle.
