2. Can Coach O Lead the Tigers to Another Win?

Ed Orgeron is currently the interim head coach of the LSU Tigers. If he wants to turn that into a permanent position, he will have to keep the Tigers winning. This week, Orgeron and the Tigers face their toughest challenge to date, in the form of the Ole Miss Rebels.

Chad Kelly is the best quarterback in the SEC. He leads an extremely potent Ole Miss offense into Death Valley. Will LSU be able to stop him? I don’t think so. Ole Miss just has too many weapons. They moved the ball well against Alabama.

The question, then, is will the Tiger offense be able to keep up with the Rebels. Again, I don’t think so. The Rebels, if they’re smart, will stack the box and dare Danny Etling to beat them throwing the ball. I don’t think he will be able to do it consistently enough to create room for Leonard Fournette to operate.

However, if Etling can hook up with Malachi Dupre and Travon Dural a few times early, then it could be a long night for the Rebels. Essentially, the game is on Etling’s shoulders. The Tigers will go as far as he can carry them. We will see how far that is on Saturday night.
