LB, Reuben Foster

Reuben Foster had an interesting, if somewhat brief stay. According to various reports, he got into a heated verbal altercation with a hospital staff member after a lengthy wait for an MRI. The end result was being sent back home to Tuscaloosa. Not exactly how you want your job interview to go, and lets face it, this was a job interview.

There were 16-18 teams he was scheduled to meet with and losing that face time with the team representatives is not desirable. It shouldn’t affect his draft position, as teams have certainly overlooked worse transgressions in the past, but it certainly didn’t help either.

Foster wasn’t scheduled to perform any on the field workouts, as he is still recovering from recent shoulder surgery. Alabama has their annual Pro Day in Tuscaloosa later this week and Foster sent an email to every NFL team apologizing for the incident and offering to meet and answer any questions they may have.
