First things first, the Gamecocks will have to take on the Golden Eagles of Marquette. Marquette is led by Coach K-disciple Steve Wojciechowski.

Wojo’s team is deep. They have 10 guys that averaged double-digit minutes per game and five guys that averaged double figures.

Marquette is top three-point shooting team in the country, shooting 43 percent as a team from downtown. They’re also 15th in the nation in three-pointers made.

The Golden Eagles are 17th in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 82.0 points per game, but 244th in the nation is scoring defense, allowing 75.0 points per game.

Freshman Markus Howard is Marquette’s leading scorer at 13.2 points per game.
