Vanderbilt

After Riley LaChance’s tough layup gave Vanderbilt a 66-65 lead with 17 seconds remaining, Fisher-Davis intentionally fouled Northwestern’s Bryant McIntosh. McIntosh sank both free throws and the Wildcats beat the Commodores 68-66.

Fisher-Davis admitted after the game that he didn’t realize what the score was and thought that his head coach was telling him to foul.

Despite leading the Commodores with 22 points off the bench, most people are only going to remember Fisher-Davis for his mental mistake that likely cost Vanderbilt the game.
