The 2-seed Louisville Cardinals lost 73-69 in the Round of 32 Saturday, failing to reach the Sweet 16.

Many March Madness fans throughout the country had the Cardinals going deep in their brackets, and no fanbase gets more enjoyment out of seeing the Cards lose than Kentucky basketball fans.

Shortly after the the game ended, Big Blue Nation erupted on Twitter with elation; bashing on both the team and Coach Rick Pitino. It could be a safe assumption that Wildcats’ fans enjoy seeing the Cardinals lose almost as much as seeing their own team win.

Then, there is always a responsible fan keeping things in perspective.

To add icing to the cake for Big Blue Nation, Kentucky later defeated Wichita State 65-62 in the exact same building, to advance to their 42nd Sweet 16 in school history.
