3. Is Bo Scarbrough the long-term solution at running back?

Bo Scarbrough emerged as Alabama’s top threat in the backfield down the stretch in 2016, rushing for 454 yards and 6 TDs over the final four games. Was that just a hot streak though, or can Scarbrough sustain that over the course of an entire season?

Much of Bama Nation thought Scarbrough would step in and follow in the footsteps of 2015 Heisman winner Derrick Henry (as they are similar in stature and running style).

Scarbrough got off to a slow start though, only rushing for more than 56 yards once in the first nine games, and then missing two games due to injury in November.

So which Bo shows up in 2017? The one that torched Washington’s defense for 180 rushing yards in the Peach Bowl, or the one that struggled for much of the regular season?

It is an answer that Alabama (and Scarbrough) must find out, because his productivity will be vital to the success of their offense in the upcoming season.
