The cinderella of the 2017 NCAA Tournament is not so accustomed to the AP Poll. Under Frank McGuire they were ranked in eight seasons in 10-year span from 1966 to 1975 and were actually preseason no. 1 in 1969. But in the past 42 years, there are only seven seasons that the’ve ranked in the AP poll.
