Coming off an 8-5 season–with three of those losses coming to teams who finished in the top five in the AP poll– the Auburn Tigers have a lot to be confident about in 2017.

The have  nine starters returning on offense, including the dynamic rushing duo of Kamryn Pettway and Kerryon Johnson, who rushed for over 2,000 yards combined.

Add the fact that they might find themselves an elite quarterback in Jarrett Stidham, they could be an offense that people should fear.

Defensively, they also return seven starters, and were coming off a bounce-back season after a sub-par season in 2015.

While Gus Malzahn has had rather disappointing seasons since his magical run in 2013, it seems that if Auburn can find their guy at quarterback, they can give Alabama a run for their money.
