Last year the passing game was subpar to say the least. No Auburn receiver eclipsed 500 yards and their leading receiver was senior wide out Tony Stevens.

However, they had a three freshman in the rotation–Darius Slayton, Kyle Davis, Eli Stove–and Ryan Davis, a sophomore.

So the question is, can they perform at a higher level, no matter who’s at quarterback?

It should pay dividends due to the fact that these four young guys got valuable playing time, as well as going against some fierce competition.

And while there seems to be no problem with having talented players, no one has yet to jump out as the clear-cut choice.

But maybe by the end of the spring, questions like these will be answered.
