Last year Georgia ranked near the bottom in the country in special teams efficiency.

The main area of concern for Georgia is field goal percentage beyond 30 yards. Their kickers were 7-for-14 from that range in 2016.

Then there is net yards per punt where they ranked 115th and kick off return yards allowed where they ranked 116th.

While a lot people disregard the importance of special teams, it is extremely crucial that a team must execute in all three phases of the game in order to succeed.

These are the little things that determine if a team finishes in first or second or worse. It is something that can completely change the momentum of the game.

This is a category that Georgia is going to have to improve if they are going to win the SEC East this year.
