11. Ed Orgeron, LSU

Orgeron is one of the biggest question marks in the SEC. In his three years as the head coach at Ole Miss, the Rebels were a pathetic 10-25, including 3-21 in the SEC.

But Ole Miss is not LSU. The Tigers have as much talent as anyone in the SEC. And after starting the season 2-2 under Les Miles, Orgeron led the Tigers to a 6-2 record in the final eight games of the season.

The strangest part of Orgeron taking over was how much better the offense was in the final eight games. The first thing he did as interim head coach was remove Cam Cameron as offensive coordinator. And in the Tigers’ first game against Missouri they set a school-record with 643 total yards.

Orgeron seems to embody exactly what the LSU fanbase wants, and we’ll see if he can turn that into success on the field in Death Valley.
