2. Dan Mullen, Mississippi State

Mullen is a great offensive mind. The Bulldogs are 61-42 (.592) since Mullen arrived in Starkville. He’s won 9 games or more three times in his eight years, which isn’t amazing, but considering he’s at Mississippi State, it sort of is. The Bulldogs had five 9+ win seasons in the history of the school before Mullen showed up.

The Bulldogs’ no. 11 ranking in the final AP poll in 2014 was the highest final ranking since 1940, and second-highest in school history. He even had Mississippi State ranked no. 1 for the first time in school history that year.

And after going to one bowl game in the eight previous years before Mullen, the Bulldogs have now made seven straight bowl appearances.
