LSU – Home

Every Gator fan could tell you about the LSU game last year. Hurricane Matthew stirred up drama in the SEC and the Gators ended up hitting the road for the LSU game when it was supposed to be at home.

In a tense game, Florida ended up stopping the Tigers at the goal line to win 16-10 in an epic showdown and become the SEC East Champs. LSU went 8-4 and 5-3 in the SEC last year.

This year, Danny Etling returns at QB. And despite losing Leonard Fournette to the NFL Draft, the Tigers bring back Derrius Guice, who rushed for 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2016, despite starting just six games last year.

Last year, Jim McElwain closed his post-game press conference with: “They got what they deserved.”

There’s no doubt this rivalry has heated up. It all goes down on October 7.
